picked up some Revivex fabric treatment a while back. My outerwear stayed in pretty good shape this winter, so no reason to use the stuff till springtime, when dirt and grime get worked in to the fabric and water stops beading up on the surface like it should. I followed the directions and treated my favorite hardshell pants and jacket, as well as a synthetic puffy. While I’m not certain this at-home treatment matches “factory,” it seems to work. Only glitch was figuring out the controls on the washing machine so I could do a soak followed by a spin, rather than a rinse cycle that washed all the Revivex from the fabric before I could transfer it to the dryer for the recommended 60 minute cure at medium heat.
