Don’t know when premier or release is scheduled for the Chris Davenport fourteeners flick, but check out the trailer on film maker Ben Galland’s website. I was hoping for a modern ski film that told a story, mixed with dynamic modern style extreme skiing. Looks like that’s what we might be getting.

Chris didn’t quite make his goal, but along the way he created an emotional and highly actualized experience, and his numbers goal has faded in the light of what appears to be one of the most spirited and publicly accessible events in modern ski alpinism.)
I’m incredibly excited about this film. Skiing the fourteeners has become what I always thought it could be: A powerful and enriching form of alpinism that can produce immense value for ski mountaineers. As far as I know Galland’s film honors that. I’ll share premier info here as soon as I hear it.
