Luke, Future Ski Bums of America. We’re second in our class. Can we catch Flippin Sweet Moves? 19 hours to go, anything could happen! Notice how we’ve got this set up. The binding concierge closes the bindings while the young man adjusts his tunes. Priorities. |

Solo class is exciting. Eric Sullivan (pictured above) is staying in second, with Aspen’s Brian Johnson charging in first. The two are only a minute apart. Eric has broken two skis and keeps on coming. You want to see the definition of hardcore, just watch these guys for 24 hours. |
The start is always fun to watch. Some guys go off like crazy, usually team members who have to start banging out fast laps right away. Like Flippin Sweet Moves, who need to stay on top if they want to defend their title! Check how they’re doing, and are we catching them? Use results link above. Remember our team is “Future Ski Bums of America.”
Polly seems to be doing well in her solo effort, nice and relaxed when she comes in to our support station. I’ll go out and get some photos. |
Things are looking good. It snowed about 8 inches last night, but sounds like it’ll let up till late tomorrow morning. Start soon. Dads and moms Lou, John, Boone, Lisa and Janelle are helping out our son’s team “Future Ski Bums of America,” along with solo racers Polly McLean, Liz and Ashley Eaton(John’s daughter).
