Good corn was had this morning on Marble Peak, (location: sort of between Aspen and Crested Butte). Trick was to start early, and stay a bit lower in elevation then we did on Hayden yesterday.

It’s said that Black Diamond found our backcountry skiing epoxy test to be interesting. We hope it helps them with their knowledge base they use for customer support — and we hope all you blogsters found it useful — and got a chuckle out of it.

For years, we’ve used epoxy for the screws when mounting ski bindings — telemark and AT randonnee. Doing so yields a trouble free mount that never loosens, has better pull-out strength, and is totally sealed against moisture.
