Good corn was had this morning on Marble Peak, (location: sort of between Aspen and Crested Butte).
Trick was to start early, and stay a bit lower in elevation then we did on Hayden yesterday.
Marble is perfect for that as the summit is near timberline. More, you can drive to a fairly high altitude. As I always say, starting up high is the key to Colorado spring skiing — that is unless you want to spend an hour or two hiking dirt in the morning.
