Williams Peak near Sunlight Ski area and Glenwood Springs, Colorado is the destination. This low elevation areas has become popular for ski touring. It’s mostly avalanche safe because of low angles and timber, and isn’t as sexy as places like Utah, but it actually yields good ski touring if conditions are right.
