Third Generation Production Low Tech (Dynafit) circa 1995

Toe unit is similar to previous generation.

Early Dynafit bindings were first known as “Low Tech” and virtually hand made by inventor Fritz Barthel and his helpers in the basement workshop of their multi-generation family home in Austria. This is the third production model. Biggest change from second generation was going to nearly fluorescent colors that conformed with early 1990s style.

Note the DIN indicator that was added in the form of a small tab that stuck out from the housing. In the next (4th) generation this would change to markings on the spring adjustment barrel.
