“This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end”

After weeks of globetrotting, hitch-hiking, couch surfing, pedicab-jousting, smog dodging, gear geeking, gathering inside convention centers for ski industry tradeshows, and of course blogging, things are finally wrapping up for many industry insiders.
The last major tradeshow for many is the Snowsports Industry Association (SIA) Show in Denver which finishes with an on-snow demo held at Copper Mountain Resort. This year’s event took place under rare sun/snow showers. The highlight is the Uphill Challenge. The race includes categories for elite COSMIC racers, industry individuals and three member teams. First, second and third places win custom cowbells of monstrous proportions.
