Was up yesterday on Marble Peak, western Elk Mountains in Colorado. The skiing was somewhat fun but we do need snow. A strong winter storm was banding in, making the light special. I like this resultant shot of the Raggeds. Anyone skiing up there, know that as expected thick layers of facets have built up on anything northerly. Most of that stuff will probably rip if we get a quick foot or two of snow — if not it’ll be the dreaded delayed action slab, so care is in order.
