Outside Magazine recently online published an excellent profile of Andrew McLean. Sad to say the online article’s photos don’t live up to the standard of the writing. The only images online are from a staged photo shoot at a Utah resort, where they placed Andrew in front of a snow making machine and sprayed him with cold water and sleet to the point of hypothermia. Smoke and mirrors for sure — but what more could one expect of a magazine that gives “green awards” but is supported by automobile advertising?
