Black Diamond Ascension climbing skins are my tire of choice for backcountry skiing, but after dropping them in the dirt a few times during 2:00 AM spring trailhead get-readys, it was time for new glue. Skinny Skis in Jackson, Wyoming did the job, and the results are beautiful! We’ll give ’em the long term mileage test over the next month and report back. But they look terrific! (At least they do to me…am I weird, shooting photos of climbing skin glue?!)
Re-glued backcountry skiing climbing skins from Skinny Skis in Jackson, Wyoming. |
