Too often, the story goes like this: I was just skiing along and… my binding pulled out of my ski! (Or some other variety of spontaneous gear disaster). Mishaps like those are usually avoidable with a little gear TLC and attention. Would you expect your bike to take you from Point A to Point B on ride after ride if you didn’t lube the chain and put air in the tires? Probably not, yet that’s effectively what a lot of us do with our touring gear.
In the latest Totally Deep Podcast Episode, Doug sits down with Ross Herr, North American Manager of Marketing and Sales at Dynafit. If anyone knows about taking care of gear, it’s one of the guys in the middle of the OG touring binding company. Throughout the episode Doug and Ross talk a lot of the usual ski banter, but they also dig into the nitty gritty of how to make sure your gear keeps working, season after season.
It’s a sort of goofy, semi serious foray into the world of our favorite topic (and Ross’s too): Gear.
Have a listen.
