Lou’s been converting our binding museum files so they conform to WildSnow’s content management system and design. It’s a trudge, as I’m sure he’d rather be adding NEW antique bindings to the display instead of the seemingly endless labor of converting the old website to the new. Or, perhaps he’d rather be outside skiing? But the massive project is almost done. It’s literally taken years, on and off. The old stuff is always interesting, and sometimes surprising in how something from, say, the 1960s can incorporate features we thought were innovative a few years ago. For example, check out the Geze touring adapter with its sliding heel unit. Pretty much like a Marker Kingpin heel in that way.
